What this miniature house kit is
The Hobby House Miniature Kit is a build-it-yourself miniature house. Each kit holds laser-cut parts sheets, a warm LED light and instructions. The parts come in wood, paper and fabric, so rooms get real texture: wood floors and frames, paper walls and signs, fabric for soft pieces like cushions and bedding.
Assembly takes glue for some parts. Small details and furniture joints hold best with a dab of craft glue, while other panels fit together on their own. The instructions walk you through the order, so you can build in short sessions or settle in for an afternoon.
The kit is made for ages 14 and up. It suits anyone who likes hands-on projects, tiny furniture and quiet time at a table.

Every style is a full kit with its own furniture, colors and layout. Pick the one that fits your shelf or the person you have in mind.

A cover gives the finished room a frame and a roof line, which helps it read as a small building on a shelf. A no-cover style is open on top, so you can look straight down into the scene.
How to build it
Set out your parts sheets and check them against the instructions before you start. Punch out the laser-cut pieces as you need them, not all at once, so nothing gets mixed up.
Dry-fit panels before gluing. If a tab and slot line up cleanly, press them together. If a joint feels loose or carries weight, add a small amount of glue and hold it for a moment.
Build in the order the instructions give. Floors and walls first, then furniture, then the small accents. Save the LED light for the step where the instructions call for it, and tuck the wire along a wall or under a floor panel so it stays out of sight.
Work on a tray or a sheet of paper. Tiny pieces are easier to keep track of, and cleanup is quick.
Light, placement and care
The warm LED light gives the room a soft glow, like a lamp left on in a small shop or bedroom. Route the wire so it runs to the edge of the build, then to a power source.
Keep the finished house out of direct sun. Strong light can fade paper and fabric over time. Dust with a soft brush or a dry cloth. Avoid water and damp cloths on wood and paper parts.
If you move the house, lift it from the base rather than the roof or a wall. Small glued joints are strong, but they are still small.
A gift for builders
This kit works as a gift for someone who likes miniatures, model rooms or quiet craft projects. The box holds everything needed for the build except glue and tools, so it is ready to start.
Because there are 21 styles, you can match a theme to the person: a coffee bar for a morning person, a sewing room for someone who sews, a pink bedroom for a soft color scheme. Each style is a separate kit, so two builders can work side by side on their own rooms.
Questions
Does this miniature house kit need glue?
Yes, some parts need glue. Other panels press together on their own. A basic craft glue is enough for the small joints and furniture.
What comes in the box?
Each kit includes laser-cut parts sheets, a warm LED light and instructions. The parts are made of wood, paper and fabric.
What age is this kit for?
The kit is made for ages 14 and up. It has small parts and fine work, so it suits teens and adults who enjoy hands-on projects.
What is the difference between a cover and no cover style?
A cover adds a frame and roof line around the finished room. A no-cover style stays open on top, so you can see straight into the scene.
